The first image shows the options menu which is only available for the adults. Here an adult can add new images and sounds and also tweak the sound and display setting of the device.
The following screen shots show the actual flashcard application. If the child presses on any image it will maximise that image.
There are also back and forward buttons to navigate through images.
We have made this prototype and changed the speaker shape into round/circle shape. We evaluated that with the personas and one of the feedback these personas responded is that colour should be changed as the green background does not give any good view to users.
