After a few meetings and discussion, we have decided to concentrate on babies aged below 11 years old. Two of our members, Rina and Dennis have experiences dealing with babies. This could be helpful to us as we would need to expose a lot and understand what a baby wants. We have not decided which product to concentrate on as we have came out with various ideas during the brainstorm and hope to combine these products and design them. Dennis has taken a few videos on how babies react when given different items and how they behave at different situation (different location in the house).
We have also discussed that our target age would be between 1 and 3 years old because the product that we are designing are meant to aid babies with learning new things in the world. Parents can be there to use the device as well. We want to make this product useful to parents and their children. We also want to make it as user-friendly as possible by following all the user centred design and human computer interaction principles in our project.
